The “Friends” is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. These purposes include maintaining a charitable and educational organization to support the Trinidad Carnegie Public Library, increasing the Library’s resources, advocating for the public library system, recycling donated material through our bookstore and encouraging and supporting educational and literacy programs through the Trinidad Carnegie Public Library.
Funds to achieve these purposes are generated from the profits of our used books store, Books & More, which is staffed by volunteers and stocked with merchandise donations from our generous community. Books & More is a source of a wide variety of media materials at greatly reduced prices, allowing individuals at all income levels access to books, movies, music and more.
