Details:
Join Levi Montoya for "Native Stories," an engaging program that celebrates his rich Native American heritage, including roots in Navajo, Paiute, Jicarilla Apache, and Tewa Pueblo cultures. With over 40 years of experience working closely with Tribal communities as a Tribal Liaison and instructor, Levi has dedicated more than three decades to preserving Native spiritual traditions as a storyteller, flint knapper, drummer, flute player, Sundance participant, and Sacred Pipe carrier. The event will feature native storytelling, flute, drumming, and dancing, and will take place rain or shine at the amphitheater on Carpios Ridge, accessible via a walking trail. While this event is free to the public, a Park Pass is required for vehicles, which can be purchased at the Visitor Center or at self-serve stations.
