WILDFIRES! - Fire Mitigation Seminar

Join us for the **WILDFIRES! Fire Mitigation Seminar** on July 11th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Mt. Carmel Wellness & Community Center, located at 911 Robinson Ave., Trinidad, CO 81082. This essential seminar, presented by GIFTS and Mt. Carmel Wellness & Community Center, will help you understand how you can reduce your risk of wildfires. The session will feature expert presenters, including Dave Bacharach, City of Trinidad Fire Chief, and Penny Bieber, Core Team Chairperson and Project Coordinator for the Las Animas County Wildfire Plan, who has over 13 years of experience in wildfire risk reduction. Penny has led various initiatives, including the development of community wildfire protection plans and successful funding efforts for wildfire mitigation in the Purgatoire watershed.
