Youth Skills Day: Sustainable Agriculture

Program Participant Age: 12-19
Have a kid who is interested in learning about farming practices that make the environment better, and protect the natural resources we depend on? Spend a day at Carpenter's Orchard to learn about the sustainable agriculture methods in use at CNC, and how agriculture on a broader scale can fit into a healthy ecosystem while still providing essential nourishment for people.
Topics covered will include Integrated Pest Management, soil, and water health.
Program Fee: $5 per person
