Artists Talk: ShaVunda Brown and Joe Davis

ShaVunda Brown and Joe Davis are spoken word artists who have been creating art at Belwin over the last two years as part of our Artists in Residence program. Join us for a public artist talk and reception where they will speak about their experience at Belwin. This is a free event. Registration is not required.
Belwin’s Artist in Residence program provides artists time and space to focus on their creative process, surrounded by the prairies and oak savannas Belwin has worked to restore. Over the years, the program has hosted painters, poets, sculptors, and more. This is Belwin’s fourth year hosting artists from our partnership with the Minnesota African American Heritage Museum and Gallery.
