Join the Louisiana Department of Health for an important community program focused on education, awareness, and resources to help address the opioid crisis in Terrebonne Parish.
Attendees will learn how to administer naloxone (Narcan), a life-saving medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. The program will also provide information on local support services, recovery resources, and organizations available to assist individuals and families impacted by substance use. Participants will also hear powerful testimonies from overdose survivors who are now living healthy, stable lives.
This free event is open to the public and will be held at three library locations:
