Details:
In 2026, we celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding. This special year also marks another important milestone – the 50th anniversary of the Pennyroyal Area Museum’s opening.
Throughout the half-century of its existence, the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County has made it its mission to share, preserve, and celebrate local history. This year, on our 50th birthday, we invite you to help celebrate the museum!
The Museum’s 50th Birthday BBQ Bash will be at noon on Saturday, July 11, at the Pennyroyal Area Museum in downtown Hopkinsville.
Join us at the museum for a day of festivities, including a Pioneers barbecue lunch, live Bluegrass music by the Todd County Boys, and a special program featuring Hopkinsville-Christian County Historian William T. Turner! Tickets are $15 per person.
