The Village Circle: A Support Group for All Seasons of Parenting is a welcoming space for caregivers at every stage of the journey—new parents, seasoned parents, and those navigating the in-between. Parenting can be isolating, especially when challenges shift with each season. This circle exists to remind you that you don’t have to do it alone. Here, we gather to share stories, exchange wisdom, and find comfort in the understanding of others who truly grasp the complexity of raising humans. This circle will be held monthly on the fourth Thursday of each month.
Facilitated by Lyndsay Pennington, co-founder of The Nest and longtime group leader, The Village Circle is thoughtfully held with care, presence, and respect. With over 18 years of experience guiding groups and holding space for meaningful connection, Lyndsay brings a steady, compassionate approach that invites openness without pressure and conversation without judgment. Each gathering balances gentle facilitation with organic discussion, allowing the collective wisdom of the group to emerge naturally.
Whether you’re navigating sleepless nights, shifting identities, changing family dynamics, or the quiet transitions that come with older children, this circle offers a place to land. You’ll find support from those who have been there, are there now, or are just beginning to walk a similar path. Because parenting was never meant to be done in isolation—and every season deserves a village.
This connection circle is free or donation based, brought to you by The Nest of Pennsylvania, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit benefitting parents and caregivers in Central PA. We use Community-Supported Ticketing so everyone can attend regardless of financial circumstances. You can contribute from $0 and up, based on what feels accessible. When you do give, you help keep our programs open to all—but coming as you are is enough. Registration is encouraged as space is limited (please cancel if you can no longer attend, leaving room for more families).
The meeting will take place at 640 W 1st St, Boiling Springs, PA 17007. We will be gathering in the upper pavillion.
