Take a break from the busyness of daily life and join us for a gentle chair yoga session designed for adults of all experience levels. This calming practice focuses on slow, mindful movements and breathing techniques that help relax the body, ease tension, and support overall well-being. Chair yoga is especially accessible, making it ideal for beginners, or anyone with limited mobility. Participants will learn simple stretches and exercises that can help calm the nervous system, improve flexibility, and promote a sense of balance and relaxation. Most of the class will be done seated, but you’re welcome to bring a yoga mat if you’d prefer the option to stand. Come as you are and leave feeling refreshed, centered, and renewed. Our instructor, Michelle, has been teaching yoga and other forms of exercise since 1998. Accessibility - The library makes every effort to ensure our programs can be enjoyed by all.
