First, immerse yourself in "Honeybee Mythology," where you'll explore the myths, folklore, and sacred symbolism of honeybees across cultures, culminating in a delightful honey tasting. This experience connects participants to the profound relationship between bees and human civilization. Fees are $27 for members and $34 for non-members.
Next, delve into "Ecological Landscaping 101," a workshop designed to help you create a resilient garden that harmonizes with nature. Topics include companion planting, supporting pollinators and beneficial insects, and sustainable gardening practices. Participants will leave with an ecological landscaping kit and valuable knowledge. Fees are $70 for members and $88 for non-members.
Both programs prioritize inclusivity and accessibility. Pre-registration through the garden's website is required. For accommodations, please contact registrar@lewisginter.org or call 804-262-9887. Join us to celebrate and nurture the beauty of our natural world!
