Join us for "Guided Relaxation & Rest: Yoga Nidra," a deep relaxation practice aimed at enhancing physical, mental, and emotional well-being. This guided meditation involves breath awareness, body scanning, intention setting, and visualization, making it a powerful tool for stress reduction, improved sleep, and nervous system balance.
Sessions last approximately 30-40 minutes and can be done lying down, sitting in a chair, or supported by a wall, requiring no specific yoga poses. Participants are encouraged to dress comfortably and bring a mat, cushions, a light blanket, and an eye pillow to create a cozy resting space.
To maintain a serene atmosphere, attendees must arrive on time; latecomers over 10 minutes will need to reschedule. The program is led by trained Yoga Nidra facilitator April McGinnis. Prior to participation, attendees must complete a liability waiver available at the session.
