Storytime w/ Alice Feagan

Join us for a special storytime with Polk County native children's book author and illustrator Alice Feagan, who will be sharing her newest book, *The Lost Board*, on Wednesday, July 22nd at 10:30 AM at the Columbus Library. This engaging story explores the theme of letting go through the journey of a young girl and her family’s surfboard creating memories with a new rider. Storytime is intended for children ages 2-5, and the first ten families to attend will receive a free copy of the book. Alice will also be available for book signings and personalization afterwards. This event is part of a series of free children's activities sponsored by the Friends of the Polk County Public Libraries throughout July, which includes performances like "DinoShakes" and "Get Down Underground." Don't forget to sign up for the 2026 Summer Learning Program at Columbus Library or Saluda Library, running through August 2nd, where kids and teens can earn incentives for setting learning goals.
