Liberty Lanterns

For Children Ages 3 - 5 with an adult

Before electricity lit our streets, whale oil lamps illuminated the path to independence! Learn how lanterns guided ships and revolutionaries alike, then design your own glowing Liberty Lantern inspired by Paul Revere’s famous signal during the Revolutionary war.

Please register your child for programs according to age and grade. If the wrong age/grade is given, we will need to delete the registration. Thank you! By registering for this program, you are automatically agreeing to Hicksville Public Library's Program Disclaimer Form.

Registration is required. Each child must be registered separately.

Registration for HPL cardholders will begin on Wednesday, July 1st at 9am.
Registration for out of district cardholders will begin on Friday, July 3rd at 9am.
