SAVE THE DATE/GET DETAILS: Thursday, June 11th Miles for Mark Ride + Raffle, Benefits the Millheim Pool
Hi Everyone,
What an amazing Thursday night we had! 106 riders, beautiful weather and babbling creeks along the way.
This week we’re looking at weather in the 80s and a beautiful ride through the always cool Millheim Narrows to Smulton, Rebersburg and Madisonburg. This scenic route is filled with long views of farmland, Amish buggies, and quaint small towns.
The Millheim Fire Company will be following us through the narrows. This means, they’re holding back as much traffic as possible as we make our way safely through the first 2 miles of the route. Traffic will be coming from the opposite direction and the occasional car may pass from behind. Please keep your pace lively, stay to the right and leave room for both riders and cars to safely pass.
Food Truck: Gourmet Griddle!
We’re excited to welcome back Gourmet Griddle for the 2026 season! Whether you’re craving a classic or specialty Burger ( I like mine with lettuce and tomato…and an Elk Creek cold draft beer), Chicken Sandwich, or veggie friendly bowl of goodness, they’ve got you covered…and don’t forget the side of fries!
This weeks safety tips:
Read our full tip sheet about riding in Penns Valley. Here is a quick list that stands out for this week’s ride.
✅ Stay in your lane, while being aware of potholes and buggy ruts.
✅ Stay to the right. Please hug the shoulder along the Millheim Narrows Rd and Route 192 (here it’s best to ride single file).
✅ Please keep a lively pace for the first 2 miles. It’s not a race, but we’ll have the Fire Truck blocking traffic for us. They…and all the cars behind them…are only going as quickly as we are. 😊
Sign your Yearly Waiver Online
