Join us for the Richard S. “Doc” Phillips Discovery Center Open House at Oakwoods Nature Preserve! The Discovery Center will be open for visitation from 10 AM to 4 PM, offering a range of unstructured and structured activities for all ages. Enjoy bird watching at the Windows on Wildlife, view mounted and live animals, watch nature videos, explore field guides and books, and participate in interactive displays with touch tables and puppets. A knowledgeable staff member or volunteer will be available to answer your questions. Additionally, don’t miss the chance to join Program Specialist Chris Allen outside on the porch from 1 to 3 PM for some fun clay activities. This event is free, and registration is not required.
