Details:
Join us for an out and back hike of 3 to 6 miles in the Hoosier National Forest as we pull the invasive Japanese Stiltgrass from the trails. MC-IRIS is partnering with the Hoosier National Forest and the Sierra Club in their annual Weed Wrangle in Pate Hollow. Weed Wrangles begin at the Pate Hollow trailhead located directly behind the Paynetown State Recreation Office off State Road 446.
No previous knowledge of Japanese Stiltgrass is necessary. We'll learn from seasoned wranglers as we pull. Bring water, insect repellent and a sense of adventure! Wear long pants, socks and sturdy shoes. We'll be enhancing the natural beauty of the Hoosier National Forest together.
