Moonlit Trek

Enjoy the night’s sights and sounds on this almost full moon hike. You will be amazed at how easily your eyes will adjust to the moonlight. Come prepared with water, a red-light flashlight, a small pack with any necessities and wear tennis shoes or hiking boots.
Meet at the Hardin Ridge Recreation Area amphitheater for this moderate to rugged 2.5-mile hike.
Location: 6464 Hardin Ridge Road Heltonville, IN 47436. Once inside the Hardin Ridge entrance follow the main road until the 5th entrance on the right just past the White Oak camping loop. This is the amphitheater parking lot. There is a vault toilet at this location.
Fee: $8 per vehicle if not camping at the recreation area
