*MPL* Civics Simplified: Understanding Government

Join us for two enriching programs at the Martinsburg Public Library:

1. **Civics Simplified: Understanding Government** – A monthly program designed to help adults better understand how government works and how they can participate. Led by knowledgeable facilitators, the sessions cover the rights and duties of citizens, the democratic process, and the structure of the U.S. government as outlined in the Constitution. Meetings are held on the 2nd Saturday at 10:30 AM and the 3rd Thursday at 5:30 PM on the top floor of the library. Registration is required; call 304-267-8933 to reserve your spot. 2. **READ Dogs** – A special program featuring Miss Gail’s certified READ Dogs, who provide a supportive and judgment-free environment for young readers. These gentle and attentive dogs help boost children's reading confidence and skills.
