George Washington Lodge #143 Open House and Lodge Tours

At the George Washington Lodge No. 143, located at 74 South Second Street, both families and individuals are invited to explore the historic Masonic Temple, which has been a part of Chambersburg's heritage since 1799. This open house, coinciding with Old Market Day and the Burning of Chambersburg Living History Portrayal, offers a rare opportunity to tour the lodge, view historical artifacts, and engage with lodge members to learn about Freemasonry. Visitors can also enjoy free tours, exhibits, and light refreshments throughout the day.

Simultaneously, at Vibrantly Wild, 90 W Main Street in Waynesboro, PA, indulge in a relaxing afternoon filled with creativity and self-care activities from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Choose from workshops like dot painting, vision boards, and mini flower pot painting, or take advantage of a chair massage available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Local vendors will also be present for shopping. Ticket options are available for access to all workshops, with additional packages for chair massages and self-care bags.
