Details:
Join us for the Pine Needle Basket Workshop, where you can celebrate American Heritage through the art of pine needle basketry. In this engaging 3-hour class led by instructor Tracey Pace, you'll learn how to create a stunning 3” to 5” basket using longleaf pine needles and waxed sinew. No prior experience is needed, just your patience and the natural beauty of pine needles gathered from the forest. All supplies will be provided.
This workshop is designed for ages 18 and older, taking place from 1:00 – 4:00pm on the 2nd floor of the Biloxi Center for Ceramics. Tracey Pace, also known as "Basket Case," is a retired educator with over 12 years of experience in basket making and has received recognition, including "Best in Show" at the Fairhope Arts Festival in 2012.
Please note that refunds, minus the credit card fee, are available up to 7 days before the class. After that period, fees are non-refundable, but you can transfer your ticket to a friend. Come and connect with nature while crafting your unique piece!
