Mudslingers Wheel Class

Join us for the Mudslingers Wheel Class at the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art, where you can experience the joy of throwing clay on a pottery wheel. This beginner-friendly class, inspired by the innovative spirit of George Ohr, the “Mad Potter of Biloxi,” invites participants aged 18 and up to learn the basics of wheel throwing under the guidance of our skilled instructors. You will create two ceramic pots to keep, which will be glazed and fired for pickup about two weeks later. If you're out of town, we can ship your finished pieces for an additional fee. Come dressed in clothes you don’t mind getting messy and get ready to have fun with clay! The class is limited to 10 students per session and costs $48 per person. Please note that refunds (minus credit card fees) are available until 7 days before the class; after that, tickets are non-refundable, but you can transfer your ticket to a friend.
