Atwood Independence Day Schedule

Join us for a festive Independence Day celebration at both Atwood and Tappan, filled with fun activities for all ages from July 2nd to July 5th! **Thursday, July 2** At Atwood: Enjoy the Nature Center from 2-4pm, participate in a traveling golf cart program from 4-7pm, and unwind with DJ Donna from 7-10pm, leading up to a spectacular fireworks display over the lake at dusk. At Tappan: Come to the Nature Center from 5-7:30pm to catch info from the traveling golf cart, then relax at the beach for a PG-rated movie, "Barbie", starting at dusk. **Friday, July 3** At Atwood: Kick off the day with an America 250 craft for kids at 10am, followed by T-shirt tie-dyeing and sand volleyball. Grab a festive adult craft at 5pm, and join Yard Game Mania before enjoying live music from The Goods from 7-10pm. At Tappan: Start the day with "Breakfast with the Birds" at 9:30am, create crafts for both kids and adults, enjoy bubble art, and participate in sandcastle building. Wind down the evening with live music from the Tuscarawas River Band and fireworks at dusk. **Saturday, July 4** At Atwood: Visit the Nature Center and participate in an eagle craft for kids at 10:30am. Join a kickball challenge at 1pm and decorate bikes and golf carts for the big parade at 4pm. End the day with Bingo and a movie by the lake. At Tappan: Begin with bike decorating at 10am, followed by a parade and tie-dyeing, then check out the Nature Center. Engage in dodgeball and kids/adult Bingo sessions before decorating golf carts for the evening parade. **Sunday, July 5** Wrap up the celebration at Atwood with a non-denominational church service from 9-10am at the small amphitheater. Join us for a memorable celebration filled with crafts, games, music, and fireworks at both locations as we celebrate America's 250th birthday!
