Details:
Join us for the Pleasant Hill Survival Skills Weekend from July 16-21, featuring a blend of outdoor adventures and engaging activities. Kick off the weekend on Thursday evening with our Campfire Chronicles Book Club, where you can discuss "Beach Read" by Emily Henry while making a bead bookmark and enjoying a campfire snack.
On Friday, explore the Nature Center from 4-5:30 PM to learn about survival instincts, catch the traveling golf cart for schedules, and join us for stargazing at the beach hill from 9-10:30 PM.
Saturday is packed with survival skills activities, including "Fishing for Kids" at the beach pier, a "Compass Challenge," campfire building, making paracord bracelets, a firestarter workshop, and ending the day with s'mores trail mix and karaoke.
To wrap up the week, we have an Archery & Adventure Camp on Tuesday for kids ages 8-12, where participants can learn about archery, fire building, and fishing.
Both the survival skills events and the Campfire Chronicles Book Club emphasize community and the joy of connecting with nature and literature, making for a memorable experience for all.
