Join us at our Thursday weekly healing circle – Healing is LIT (Language is Therapy)! Discover the power of storytelling, art, and community in this unique weekly healing circle, held every Thursday, designed for African-American, self-identified experiencers of sexual assault and their supporters. Through the exploration of literature and the arts, we create a safe and inspiring space for connection, reflection, and healing. What to Expect: • Peer Support, Not Clinical Services: This is a peer-support group facilitated by trained individuals with shared experiences, providing a supportive and creative space in a non-clinical setting. • Literature and Arts-Focused Discussions: Each session uses literature, poetry, and other art forms to ignite meaningful conversations and foster personal growth. Who Can Join: • Self-identified African-American women who have experienced sexual assault • Support advocates for African-American experiencers of sexual assault How to Participate: Registration is required by 4 PM on the day of the group to ensure you receive the link on time.
