Details:
Join us for a rewarding day of trail maintenance on the iconic Angel's Rest Trail in the Gorge and Eagle Fern County Park in Clackamas County. Led by Crew Leaders Hope McKee, Pat K., and Elaine K., we will perform essential seasonal maintenance, including brush clearing on Angel's Rest Trail, and tread rehabilitation and log removal on the half-mile trail at Eagle Fern.
The Angel's Rest hike will cover approximately 5 miles with an elevation gain of 1500 feet, while the Eagle Fern project features a moderate hike with a 300-foot gain. Volunteers, limited to a maximum of 12 participants for both locations, must commit to the entire event for safety reasons. Attendees should bring ample water, snacks, work gloves (loaner available), medications, sunscreen, insect repellent, and sturdy boots—open-toed shoes are not allowed. All necessary tools and personal protective equipment will be provided by TKO.
We acknowledge that our work takes place on the traditional lands of Indigenous tribes and honor their ongoing stewardship. TKO is committed to creating an inclusive environment and welcomes those needing accommodations to contact us in advance. We strive to ensure a safe and welcoming space for all participants, free from bias and hate. While mask-wearing is encouraged for personal safety, it is not mandatory. Join us to make a positive impact on Oregon's trails!
