Summer fun days at Blue Lake Regional Park

Free garden activities for all and lunch for youth. Join Metro educators for garden crafts and activities at Blue Lake Regional Park. Discover how pollinators help plants, decomposers make soil, and how you can make a home for wildlife in your garden. Get crafty with projects to create painted rocks, butterfly antennae and bee buzzers. Explore the park through a scavenger hunt and learning garden. Stay for a free sack lunch at a nearby picnic shelter. Family friendly activities are for all ages. All youth must be accompanied by an adult. Free lunch only for youth ages 1 to 18 from noon to 1 p.m. In accordance with state summer meals program rules, lunches must be eaten at the picnic shelter where meals are handed out. Free parking for participants. Skip the parking machine and park over by the splash pad. No registration is required. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
