**Depolarizing Conversations Workshop**
Join us for a free, three-hour online workshop aimed at addressing the polarization in today’s political climate. Hosted by Braver Angels, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering understanding across ideological divides, this workshop will equip participants with tools to navigate discussions with those holding differing views.
In this interactive session, you will learn to:
- Recognize and mitigate your own “inner polarizer” during discussions.
- Disagree constructively without resorting to demonization, dismissal, or stereotyping.
- Engage in social conversations with like-minded peers to prevent contempt and ridicule of differing political perspectives.
- Understand the core values and concerns of those on the other side of the political spectrum.
- Practice effective listening skills that make others feel heard, and share your viewpoints in a way that encourages understanding rather than division.
This workshop welcomes anyone eager to examine their biases and learn how to communicate in a manner that builds bridges rather than walls.
