Back to School Block Party FREE EVENT • Saturday, August 9th • 9AM–1PM Crater Park, Standard St., Elkin, NC Get ready to kick off the school year with a day of family fun at our Back to School Block Party, hosted by Explore Elkin, Elkin Recreation & Parks, and Elkin City Schools! We’re filling the day with exciting activities, great food, and opportunities to give back: Fill the Bus – Help local students by bringing school supply donations! Touch-a-Truck – Get up close with cool vehicles Free Hot Dogs (11AM–1PM) Bounce Houses & Games Splashpad & Playground Fun Middle & High School Pickleball Tournaments (on-site registration 9:00–9:30 AM) This event is FREE and open to the public! Come out, have a blast, and support students as they head into a brand-new school year.
