America 250 Celebration

Step back in time at the Adena Mansion & Gardens, for an America 250 Celebration brought to you by the Nathaniel Massie Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Ross County Visitors Bureau. Experience the sights and sounds of the 18th century through artillery demonstrations, musket and rifle drills, soldiers' kit presentations and period military music. Demonstrations and activities from the Daughters of the American Revolution, The Brigade of the American Revolution; Northwest Department, The Ross County Historical Society, The Ohio History Connection and more! Visitors can explore hands-on exhibits, children's games, cooking demonstrations, and the role of women of the era. Don't miss George Washington, Ben Franklin, a flag retirement ceremony, beer making, and other engaging activities that bring early American history vividly to life.
