Details:
Join us for an exciting summer at the library! Teens can volunteer at the Summer Reading Challenge table, helping families sign up for the reading challenge, distributing tickets and stickers, and promoting the Summer Reading Program. Additionally, we invite you to participate in Lunch at the Library, where free lunches are provided for kids 18 and under to enjoy on the library lawn. Teen volunteers will read to children while they eat, and after lunch, kids can enjoy free popsicles, games, and various outdoor activities. Join us Monday through Thursday for a summer filled with reading and fun! This initiative is supported by the California State Library and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, ensuring equal opportunity for all participants. Don't forget to bring a blanket and arrive during the 30-minute serving window!
