The Queens County Farm Museum is New York City's last remaining active historic farm, operating since 1697 on 47 acres. It serves as a living classroom and educational hub, preserving agricultural heritage and promoting sustainable practices. The museum features a working farm with livestock, planting fields, orchards, and historic buildings, including the 18th-century Adriance Farmhouse. It offers educational programs for all ages, hands-on workshops on gardening and farming, and hosts various seasonal events and community gatherings. The farm also sells produce on-site seasonally and provides volunteer opportunities.
