The Peters Township Public Library (PTPL) is dedicated to supporting an informed citizenry by providing a wide range of materials, programs, equipment, and staff services to meet the community's educational, professional, and recreational needs. The library aims to enrich and empower every patron by fostering a love of learning, with a mission to "open books, doors and minds." PTPL offers over 110,000 items for loan, including books, magazines, DVDs, music CDs, e-readers, and video games, with access to materials from across the WAGGIN system. Services include free Wi-Fi, public computers with printing, meeting and study rooms, a daily book sale, and online access to movie and music streaming. The library also provides homebound delivery and hosts a variety of entertaining, educational, and informative programs for all ages. PTPL has received national recognition, ranking fourth in the nation among public libraries serving populations of 10,000-24,999 in 2000. The library empowers individuals to learn, explore, and connect through its diverse offerings.
