This fully outdoor, hands-on workshop introduces participants to the fundamentals of mushroom identification followed by guided foraging practice in the field.
The class begins with a 30–45 minute outdoor instructional session covering essential basics for identifying various types of fungi, including key physical features, safety considerations, and responsible foraging practices.
The remainder of the workshop is spent actively foraging on the landscape, where participants will apply what they’ve learned through direct observation and guided identification in natural habitats. This immersive experience is designed to build confidence and practical skills in a real-world setting.
