7/22/26 Crushed Glass & Resin Suncatchers & More - Aquila's Nest

Create a beautiful handcrafted suncatcher using colorful crushed glass, resin, and your choice of design at this fun DIY workshop at Aquila's Nest Vineyard in Newtown, CT.
Choose from a variety of stained-glass-inspired designs including dragonflies, sunsets, flowers, and more. Prefer something a little different? You can also create a garden-inspired floral design using pressed flowers, glass, and resin. Or go rouge and create whatever your artistic heart dreams up!
During this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll learn how to arrange crushed glass, add decorative elements, and finish your piece with resin to create a stunning work of art that catches the light beautifully in your home.
No experience is needed. We'll guide you through the entire process and provide all materials.

Important Details:
Seats are limited and pre-registration is required.
Projects require 24 hours to cure—your project will be sent home with you the night of, wet in a box to keep flat while it cures.
We use a low-VOC, non-toxic, BPA-free resin for a safer experience.
Gloves provided (bring your own if you have allergies). Masks are optional, please bring your own if your sensitive or concerned.

Important Details per WINERY POLICY:

Wine is not included in your ticket. A minimum $10 drink purchase (plus tax & gratuity) is required per participant.

No outside beverages allowed. Bags and coolers are subject to inspection.

Event Policies
All ticket sales are final.
If you are unable to attend, you may:
• Transfer your ticket to a friend
• Pick up a DIY kit (if available)
• Receive credit to use toward another event within 3 months
If preferred, MBS can complete the project on your behalf for an additional $10 service fee. Projects & kits may be picked up locally in New Milford or shipped for an additional $10.
Classes may be rescheduled or cancelled due to illness, weather, or low enrollment. Each event has a minimum headcount, which varies by venue and project.
