Join us for two engaging events at the Seymour and Yankee Clipper Branches!
On Monday, July 20, 2026, from 6:00 – 7:00 pm, the Seymour Branch will host an interactive workshop titled "Introduction to Civic Engagement with Urban Core Collective." This session will explore decision-making processes that affect our community, from affordable housing funding to environmental impacts, emphasizing the importance of collective leadership and community involvement. Open to teens and adults, it's a great opportunity to learn how to engage in local initiatives.
Additionally, on the same day, the Yankee Clipper Branch will hold its monthly Popular Pages Book Club from 6:00 – 7:00 pm. Join fellow readers as you dive into discussions about popular fiction and nonfiction titles curated by GRPL librarians. This month's featured book is "The Office of Historical Corrections" by Danielle Evans. This club is an excellent way for adults to connect, share perspectives, and explore various literary worlds.
Both events promise to enrich your community engagement and literary exploration!
