THE CONCERT TRUCK IS ROLLING INTO LICKING COUNTY with a Special Stop in Granville! FREE Community Concert - Brought to You by The Midland Theatre at the Granville Center for the Arts! The performance will take place in front of the arts center in the heart of Granville, Ohio at 119 W Broadway. Get ready for something you've likely NEVER seen before! A 16-foot box truck transforms into a magical mobile concert hall right before your eyes, complete with professional lighting, sound system, and a beautiful piano! Meet Your Artists: Susan Zhang is a powerhouse pianist praised for her “astounding musical authority”, with performances spanning North America, Europe, Asia, and airwaves on South Carolina Public Radio. She’s a decorated competition winner and has soloed with the Augusta Symphony and South Carolina Philharmonic. A trailblazer in making music accessible, she co-founded The Concert Truck—an award-winning mobile concert hall bringing free classical concerts to communities across the country. Susan holds degrees from the University of South Carolina and the Eastman School of Music, and continues her studies at the Peabody Conservatory with Boris Slutsky. Rieko Tsuchida - pianist and graduate of Juilliard and Peabody, made her Carnegie Hall debut in 2011 and has since performed around the world, from the Rochester Philharmonic to solo recitals at Salle Cortot and the Eiffel Tower. Based between New York and Paris, she’s Co-Artistic Director of Classical Music Collection Japan and a founding member of the contemporary ensemble IMAGO. These incredible musicians converted their truck into a concert venue and have been bringing live music directly to communities across America - partnering with major institutions like the Kennedy Center and Dallas Symphony Orchestra.
