Raising Nebraska is a 25,000-square-foot interactive and hands-on educational center founded in 2014. Its mission is to impact how people think about their relationship with food, agriculture, and natural resources. The center helps young people, families, and educators understand where food comes from, how it's grown, and the science behind farming and ranching in Nebraska through exhibits and programming. It is a collaborative effort involving the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Nebraska Extension, the Nebraska Department of Agriculture, and the Nebraska State Fair.
