The Grand Island Little Theatre (GILT) is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the Grand Island community through the performing arts. Founded in 1960, GILT provides quality family entertainment by staging 4 to 6 productions annually. Their mission is to entertain, educate, and enlighten audiences. GILT also offers educational programs, including an annual summer camp for children (GILT Jr.) established in 2015, and provides scholarships for aspiring theatre students. The organization relies on volunteers and community support through donations and sponsorships.
