Details:
Join us at Rock Creek Station State Historical Park for the second of a series of guided hikes as a part of this year’s Your Parks Adventure: Trail Trek program!
Follow the route of pioneers as they made their way west. Learn about overland travel, road ranches, the Pony Express, and Wild Bill Hickock’s exploits in this historic location. This hike allows participants to cross a reconstructed toll bridge and pass through original wagon ruts that still exist on the landscape.
The trail is approximately one mile long on firm terrain. The hike still start at 1 p.m. Central Time.
This activity is free, but a valid state park vehicle permit is required for park entry.
