High Strung Steel is a powerhouse acoustic duo from Michigan, formed by lifelong musicians Budd Greenman and Chris Jane. Budd’s fiddle roots stretch from Cape Breton to the heart of Michigan’s folk traditions, while Chris brings the drive of a classically trained percussionist and multi-instrumentalist with a commanding voice. Together they create a fusion of Celtic and Americana Folk that’s at once steamy, playful, and wildly dynamic. Built to play any stage, from quiet corners to festival fields, High Strung Steel strips live music down to its essentials: energy, soul, and the joy of two men chasing one sound.
