Each gathering highlights a distinct cultural food tradition, inviting attendees to learn directly from culture bearers through a short presentation, table conversations, and interactive elements.
Experience the bold flavors and rich culinary traditions of West African cuisines, where food is deeply tied to celebration and community. This gathering will introduce staple dishes, spices, and cooking techniques while sharing stories to highlight the cultural significance of meals across the region.
Featuring speaker Dr. Grace Karikari (Ghana), this event is presented in partnership with Sining Etniko, Grand Forks Public Library, and Kori Art. Attendees can also explore cultural items on display as part of the interactive experience.
