Details:
Sopris Lodge and HomeCare & Hospice of the Valley present a four-part grief support series featuring a rotating lineup of compassionate speakers. Sessions take place on the third Tuesday of every month May - August in the Community Room at the Carbondale Branch Library.
June’s session will be led by Sean Jeung, a board-certified chaplain and certified grief counselor with over 20 years of experience at Hospice of the Valley and Valley View Hospital. Sean is a well-known expert and deeply respected in the Roaring Fork Valley.
July & August’s sessions will be led by Kathy Springer-Lechuga, a lifelong Roaring Fork Valley resident. After more than a decade volunteering with Hospice of the Valley, Kathy retired and pursued her passion for end-of-life care. She completed End-ofLife Doula training in 2021 and later trained as a palliative care chaplain. Today, she serves as one of Hospice of the Valley’s chaplains, bringing warmth, empathy and experience to the team.
