Lowry United Neighborhoods (LUN) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization officially recognized by the City of Denver as a Registered Neighborhood Organization (RNO) for the Lowry and Boulevard One areas. Its primary mission is to represent the interests of all residents, homeowners, and renters within its boundaries in all aspects of Denver's government. LUN actively works to build a sense of community by increasing communication among neighbors, gathering information on resident concerns, and advocating for neighborhood interests. The organization focuses on preserving and enhancing the livability of the neighborhoods, promoting sustainability through education and advocacy, and addressing issues such as zoning, traffic safety, homelessness, and housing. LUN also provides support and outreach to low-income communities, maintains a community calendar, and hosts quarterly meetings on key community issues. They work in partnership with the City of Denver and other local organizations to foster a stronger, more inclusive community.
