Details:
At the library, two important events are offered to support the community. First, the Coordinated Entry Drop-in Assistance provides help from staff at the Family Support Center of South Sound for Thurston County residents experiencing homelessness. Participants can complete the intake process, check placement status, and undergo a vulnerability assessment to discuss potential solutions and community resources. This service operates on a first-come, first-served basis and is not intended for immediate shelter placements. Additionally, every Tuesday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, WorkSource staff will be available to offer job and career assistance, including job search support, skills development, and résumé help. Concurrently, the library hosts a Birth to Five Storytime for children ages 0-5, featuring stories, music, and activities to promote early literacy, welcoming older siblings to join the fun.
