Then, using talons, wings, and skulls, we explore the adaptations of these silent nocturnal hunters. This program ends with an intimate and detailed look at an owl, bringing these creatures of the night into the light! LC Bates Museum – Old Time Toys : Tuesday, August 11 at 10 am Ever wondered what life was like in the 1800 and early 1900s? How did children learn, play, and live? Learn about what life was like in the past, particularly in central Maine, and what sort of toys and games children played.
