Details:
Ever wondered what music was like before streaming... before radios… or even electricity?
August 3–7, kids ages 10–15 can step back into 18th & 19th century Maine and actually try the music for themselves.
Participants will enjoy:
- Learning old ballads
- Trying traditional instruments
- Musical games
- A real “singing school” experience
- Traditional dances
It’s hands-on, interactive, and a chance to see how music brought communities together long before playlists and streaming.
The week is led by Kelley Doore of Clary Lake Music Lessons and takes place at the historic Chapman-Hall House in Damariscotta.
August 3–7
