1320 Highland Ave, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266, USA

The Manhattan Beach Library, established as a subscription library in 1910 by the Neptunian Women's Club and integrated into the LA County Library system in 1915, is one of the oldest continuously operating libraries in the county. Housed in a modern 21,500-square-foot building, it serves approximately 34,668 residents. The library offers a wide array of resources and services, including a diverse collection of books, DVDs, and digital materials, as well as public computers, children's and teen spaces, and meeting and study rooms. It provides access to online homework help, research assistance, and self-service copying and scanning. As part of the larger LA County Library system, it contributes to the system's mission of providing free public resources, computer and internet access, and educational and recreational services across a vast area, aiming to reduce barriers and increase equity in public services.
