Galveston Historical Foundation Annual Meeting

The Galveston Historical Foundation (GHF) will host its Annual Meeting on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the historic 1859 Ashton Villa, located at 2328 Broadway. Executive Director Dwayne Jones and outgoing president Clay Rogers will lead the meeting, which features complimentary beverages and gourmet hors d'oeuvres. The primary agenda includes the election of officers and directors for 2025-2026, alongside a recap of GHF's achievements over the past fiscal year. The event will also highlight the ceremonial “passing of the gavel” from the outgoing president to the incoming president, Tiffany Vaiani. GHF, which merged with the Historical Society of Galveston in 1954, dedicates itself to historic preservation and community redevelopment while embracing a comprehensive view of history and architecture that reflects the interplay of cultural experiences on Galveston Island from the 19th century to today.
