The group is well-versed in the traditions and stories of Blue Ridge and incorporate tales about the music, dance, and instruments of the region into their performance. Band members include Lynn Wolf, Jim Purcell, Gene Anderson, Mike Mears, Glenn Paschal, and Shannon Murray. About Midday Mountain Music Midday Mountain Music is a FREE informal music presentation featuring local and regional artists. Midday Mountain Music is held from 12-3 p.m. on the covered breezeway every day the Blue Ridge Music Center visitor center is open. Join us for a few minutes or the whole afternoon. No tickets needed.
