Cone Park Branch, nestled at 2801 E University Ave in East Gainesville, stands as the Alachua County Library District's newest gem, uniquely situated within Fred Cone Park. This branch realizes a long-held vision for an accessible library in the community. Since opening in 2011 as a temporary modular space, it evolved into a modern 10,000 square foot facility by 2013, featuring dedicated rooms for all ages, vibrant children’s areas, and comprehensive resources. With a focus on literacy, STEAM, and cultural programming, Cone Park Branch has woven itself into the community’s rich cultural tapestry.
